Cuba has five basic genres of Afro-Cuban music; these include rumba, son, cancion Cubana, danzon, and punto guarjira. This section discusses the origin of the three most common genres rumba, son, and danzon and the importance they have had in the making of Afro-Cuban culture in Cuba.

There is so much to see in Havana, and we were only able to cover a portion of that in our 4 day trip. The best place to start is Old Havana. You could easily spend a few days winding your way through the cobblestone streets, eating in small cafes, touring castles, and visiting museums.
